Traveling Salesman

Traveling Salesman riffs on the Greek myth of Chiron and Chiron’s astrological significance. In this evening-length dance theater project, a series of dialogue scenes tell a nonlinear story about a door-to-door knife salesman with uncanny healing powers. The salesman’s world collides with figures from a different temporality who dance an abstracted version of the original myth.
