Alive & Well Productions returns to the San Francisco International Arts Festival for the San Francisco Premiere of The Four Seasons of Hamadan. Early bird tickets go on sale in March.

Composed by Kian Ravaei and choreographed by Annie Kahane, The Four Seasons of Hamadan is a 20 minute duet for violinist and dancer that interweaves Persian and Jewish music and dance traditions to express intercultural harmony. This project blends folkloric forms from the artists’ respective heritages and reimagines that material through a contemporary lens. The Four Seasons of Hamadan will be presented on a shared evening with new work by Helen Wicks at the Theater of Nugen San Francisco’s Mission District.
